QA Manager/Lead

StellarMettle is seeking a QA Manager/Test Lead who will focus testing efforts on internal business applications and is and responsible for conducting complex, cross-functional test processes for any application the business unit is creating and/or changing. This is a hands-on manager who will split their daily functions with 70% focused on testing alongside your direct reports, and 30% people management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with a scrum team to produce all the quality assurance deliverables including thoughtful development of test plans, test scenarios, and scripts; implementation of necessary test processes on projects; and execution of tests and analysis of test results
  • Ensure sufficient test coverage for all user stories Perform both scripted and exploratory test execution
  • Write, monitor, execute, and evaluate application tests using industry standard automated testing tools
  • Perform web service testing utilizing manual and automated methods
  • Create scripts to compare and validate data results from testing
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes by working closely with the team to ensure issues/defects are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Communicate and provide documentation throughout the project lifecycle that advises the project teams of potential risk areas

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

  • A few of the “must have’s” are: Automation testing (Karate, Cucumber, SoapUI), experience with JIRA and/or Confluence, and exposure to ServiceNow testing.
  • Experience in working as an automation QA Engineer or Analyst in an Agile environment
  • Management or Test Lead experience. People management is required for this role.
  • Exposure to testing within the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum methodologies and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) using Agile Central / Rally or similar tool is a plus
